When I open a task manager there is always Wifi Manager running – if I close it is listed again in task manager after a certain time…

Why is WiFi-Manager always running in background? If I kill it – it comes back again after a certain time. I do not have it as a widget btw…

      How do you determine this?

Still not able to allow Nexus One to connect to remembered wi-fi network automatically. Maybe this is a software bug of Nexus One. Do you have any idea? Thanks in advance.

Like I already said, all three of my Android phones do connect automatically to the available Wifi network (if any) after Wifi is enabled.

I assume you are using Anroid 2.2. Are you running any task killers, or any other kind of “Android improvement” application?

What happens if you just click on the widget to launch Wifi Manager? This should force a network scan, and, hopefully, connection.
